Tourism 4.0 for the Black Sea – T4BS

The project is implemented by a consortium of six partners: Arctur – lead partner leader (Slovenia), HCl Consultants (Greece), Tourism Institute (Georgia), Agricola NGO (Ukraine), “Ovidius” University of Constanta – Faculty of Natural Sciences and Agricultural Sciences (Romania) and Accessible Romania by Sano Touring (Romania), and runs from December 2019 to December 2021.

“Tourism 4.0 for the Black Sea – T4BS” is among the first tourism projects funded by the European Commission under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).

It is an innovative and avant-garde project that aims to demonstrate the potential of data analysis in the sustainable development of tourism. The results of complex analyses carried out with the help of the tool “Tourism Impact Model – TIM” and the Big Data analytics (Big Data analytics) conducted with the supercomputer of the Arctur partner leader offer real support to local authorities, communities and entrepreneurs in choosing optimal economic development options, which do not jeopardies environmental resources.
